Some places are built to be seen. Ours were built to see from.
Suites with private verandas and hot tubs, villas with grand heated pools, cave suites in a restored winery. Every Phaos house is small, personal and made for the view.
Wherever you stay, you are looked after by the same small team — the people guests write home about, who will arrange your transfer, your boat and the table with the best view.
Imerovigli
Freshly renovated suites that blend traditional charm with modern comfort — each with a private veranda over the Aegean, several with their own hot tub.
Oia
Newly built villas, each with a grand private heated pool, surrounded by olive trees just moments from the centre of Oia.
Pyrgos
A restored 1870 winery in the old castle of Pyrgos — four cave suites, each with a private heated hot tub or pool, at the highest point of the island.

“We had an amazing stay here! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. We loved being able to sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the view. Having visited a few different spots on the island we agreed this is our favorite! It’s beautiful and quiet and has amazing views. Highly recommend staying here!”
“Yona is the perfect host. We were welcomed with love and she is so accommodating with requests and service is top notch. When we do come back, we will definitely come here again. Location is walking distance from Fira, the city centre. Just be prepared with comfortable walking shoes”
“The hospitality of the staff was outstanding, particularly that of Iona at the front desk. The location was perfect and away from the crowded areas close by. The housekeeping staff was also very responsive and friendly.”
“This was a wonderful place to stay for our first time to Greece. Jona and the staff were super friendly and attentive it’s nice a quiet just to relax and close to everything you might want to do. It’s uphill both ways it seems but a excellent location.”
“Incredible views. The staff are sweet, friendly, and will help you set up horse back riding, dinners cruises, or anything you want to do around the island. Walking distance to several bakeries and coffee shops, markets, and rental places.”
“Lovely Staff, great rooms, fabulous view”
“Stayed for a couple of days in October. The hotel was amazing. Spacious with great views over the Aegean sea. The stuff was very kind and helped with everything. The location is the best 10 minutes walk to fira town and 5 minutes to imerovigli. Great value for money and good selection of excursions organised by the hotel.”
“Stayed here for 3 nights. Deluxe suite with jazuzzi was a good room. Had a relaxed time here and the room was so spacious! And the dog that was on the property was a cutie :) staff was friendly and easy to approach. Would recommend this place. Restaurants and caldera views are close by.”
